Other than college art classes, Burton is self-taught. However, for five years in NYC he shared studio space with over fifty talented artists from a variety of disciplines which heavily influenced his art and its development.

ARTIST STATEMENT
Art is my life, and life is my art. My talent comes from GOD. I took that talent very seriously, and nurtured it through the passage of time.

I learned of the "Cosmic Consciousness," the memory footprints of all mankind, and found I could access it and tap into its energies. I don't paint, I channel.

When I work the world disappears into a vortex of spirit, music, light, and color. I become a whirling dervish of motion as I lay down another layer on one of the 40+ paintings I have in-progress at any given time.

Driven by my desire for a significant piece of art history and nothing else, the best is yet to come...
